Q: How much does a PictureBook cost? A: We charge PHP750.00 for a PictureBook in Double-Wire format that can contain up to 20 pages. Each page is 7-inches wide by 5-inches tall. That is the same size as a 5R photo. Each page can have up to 8 photos. But take note that the more pictures you put on a page, the smaller they will be resized so that they will all fit. We also offer a Full-Spread (no-cut) format. Please visit this page to find more info and pricing for the full-spread format. Q: How do I order a PictureBook? A: Download our PictureBook Maker software. Layout your photos and upload. You will be issued and emailed an order number. You have up to five (5) calendar days to pay for that order online through this site. Q: What if I want more than 20 pages on my PictureBook? A: For the double-wire format, our software will actually let you create up to a maximum of 26 pages. However, it will provide you a warning upon reaching the 20th page. There will be additional charges beyond 20 pages. Each additional page costs PHP50.00. Our full-spread picture books come in fixed page configuration of 10, 20, 30 and 40. Click here for more info. Q: What digital image formats do you support? A: Presently, we only support JPG, GIF and TIF. We do not currently support RAW. So please make sure you send the correct file format.

A: This depends on the quantity and quality of your images. Images taken at a higher resolution would normally produce larger files. Larger files would take longer to send. The speed of your broadband Internet connection will also be a factor. For Philippine users, we have tested our system using the entry-level packages of Mozcom, PLDT MyDSL, Globelines Broadband and Destiny Cable Internet, and we have found them to be sufficient. We have not done any tests with other local carriers. Users from outside the Philippines with broadband DSL or cable connections will also have varying experience depending on the speed and congestion of their respective networks. But in general, any connection at 512kbps or higher should be adequate. On the average, you should probably expect the transfer of 80 pictures to take about 10 to 15 minutes. Q: I don't have broadband Internet access. How can I send you my photos? A: You can go to a neighborhood Internet cafe and upload the images from there. Or if that is not convenient, you can burn the images onto CD and arrange for a pickup. We can pickup materials within Makati, Pasig, San Juan, Mandaluyong and Marikina for an extra handling fee of PHP50.00. Our messenger can also pickup the cash payment for each Picture Book at the same time. You can contact us for more details on the pickup arrangement. A: Yes. Go through the online registration process of ThePictureShop. Then proceed to the miscellaneous online payment page. Just indicate what you are paying for and the amount. Then choose one of the online payment options. A: You can buy them an online Gift Certificate! Go to the miscellaneous online payment page. Under 'Type', click the button for Gift Certificates. Then choose one of the online payment options. You will receive a 20-character code which you can give to your friends or family. When they make a Picture Book, they can enter this code under the "Voucher/Gift Certificate" box. The amount you paid will be deducted from their amount due. So if you pay for a PHP750.00 GC and they tried to purchase one PictureBook, then they will not have to pay for anything! If the GC amount is less than the amount due, they will just have to pay extra for the differential. If the GC amount is more than the amount due, the GC balance will be forfeited. We do not carry over GC credits. GC's may only be used in one transaction. Q: Do you provide reprint services for the PictureBooks you've created? If yes, how do I pay for it? A: Yes, we can reprint PictureBooks. We store your PictureBook images for up to a year in case you want to have a reprint. Just proceed to the miscellaneous online payment page and indicate the details of the PictureBook that you want reprinted. We charge PHP600 for each reprint of a Double-Wire 5" x 7". For the full-spread format, we charge 10% less the original retail price as indicated in the full-spread rate table. Then choose one of the online payment options. Q: I would also like to upload my pictures to an online photo album. Do you provide that service? A: No, we do not offer such service. However, we recommend you try out Yahoo's Flickr service or Google's Picasa. Q: Do you use acid-free materials? A: This question is often asked from us as an apparent reference to physical scrapbooking materials which supposedly may cause photos to deterioriate sooner. Acid present in most scrapbook materials is considered to be one of the worst photo-damaging substances. Because of this, consumers have constantly favored 'acid-free' labeled products. ThePictureShop does not use traditional scrapbook materials. We only do digital scrapbooking and our output is printed directly on quality photo paper. Thus, the whole issue of using traditional acidic scrapbook materials is completely irrelevant and not applicable to our products. Q: What is your privacy policy? A: Please give us 5 to 7 business days upon payment to process and deliver your double wire-bound PictureBook. For full-spread PictureBooks, we require 2 to 3 weeks because of the more complex binding process. Q: Do you charge for shipping and handling? A: For deliveries within the Philippines, the shipping charge is PHP80.00. For international shipments, please email us your postal address for a quotation.
